Why the Scale Lies (and What We Measure Instead)

Day-to-day weight swings of 1–2 kg are almost entirely water. Sodium intake, carbohydrate load, training soreness and hormonal cycles all shift fluid balance.

We track a weekly average instead of single readings, and pair it with waist circumference and body composition every four weeks.

If the weekly average is flat but the waist is down and strength is up, the plan is working. Do not change a plan on the evidence of one morning.
